This
utility is designed to be your own personal White Board. Write on it, mark it
up. Scrawl down your notes and important things to do so when you're sitting at
your monitor you don't forget those things you got to do! Put it in your Startup
folder and let it run in your system tray - there is no setup program. Just
download it, unzip it to the directory of your choice and let it work for
you. Click here to download the zipped version.
There is no setup program, nor do you need one. Just
download the zip file and extract the program to a directory of your choice.
WhiteBoard 2008 will then run from that directory.
There are ten so-called tabs in the program. Each tab
writes to a Rich Text File (RTF). You can save the tabs separately, or save all
of them at once by clicking on the appropriate icon along the toolbar.
There is a data grid in the eleventh tab. Use this to locate or open files
on your computer, or navigate to a website. Click on the cells in the grid and
enter the data. The first cell is for the name of your file, or website. The 2nd
cell in the grid row is for the file path, or link, to a website.
When not in use, let the program idle in the Window's System Tray. Do
this by clicking on the on the appropriate icon - the first one on the left.
Other features include most of what you find in any text editor -
including changing of fonts; left, right and center alignment; and UnDo and
Redo, among other basic functions.
This program is free, though copyright laws still apply. And you
