When entering an address into the Publisher or Agent/Agency form, separate the lines with a comma. This will tell WPO to make a line break at this point when printing out a Letterhead.
If you enter the address: Main Street 1,Home Town TX 43324,USA
WPO will format and display it to look like:
Main Street 1
Home Town TX 43324
USA
UPPER CASE, LOWER CASE, NORMAL CASE in Publishers and Agents/Agencies:
Available in the Publisher or Agent/Agency window: Do you copy and paste information from the Internet, or elsewhere, into WPO? Sometimes those name fields are in uppercase letters. In the name field from the aforementioned forms, double click on the text field, or the identifying label, to change the case of the text.
Example: Names on the WritersMarket.com site are in upper case. When you copy and paste a name into WPO you can change it to normal casing by double-clicking on the text field. ‘MY FAVORITE PUBLISHER’ becomes ‘My Favorite Publisher’. To reverse the process, double click on the identifying label (Name:).
MULTIPLE SELECTIONS: Several list views allow you to select multiple items. To do so, hold down the CTRL key and then click on the items with the left mouse button. While still holding down the CTRL key, click on an item with the right mouse button to open the Context Sensitive Menu.

SORTING LIST VIEW ITEMS: When entering numerical data to be displayed in a Listview at times it will appear as: 1, 11, 12...2,20,21...3,30,31...To have it viewed in order, when using one numeral, place a zero as the leading element: 01,02,03...10,11,12...20,21,22. This procedure is also valid when text precedes the numbers, such as 'Chapter 01, Chapter 02', etc...
See the image above. The Titles are sorted as mentioned.

If there is a match in the database the matching data will appear in the treeview.

Keep Rich Text Formatted notes with the WhiteBoard.

UPDATING Writers Project Organizer: After downloading an update or patch, install the program into the same directory where WPO is currently located. If you do not, you will be starting with a new, clean databank, and will have the impression that your data has gone missing. This is not the case. Your data is not missing; WPO simply cannot find it because it is in a different directory.
Example: WPO is installed in: ‘C:\Programs\PinderSoft\Writers Project Organizer’, the default directory on most machines.
When the patch or update setup program starts, and you install WPO into, say, ‘C:\Programs\Writers Project Organizer’, you will not be using your prior data on the next program start unless you copy the databank and some of the other files into the new directory.
For best results and to avoid any confusion, install the program into its original directory, the one displayed in the setup program.
UNINSTALL
Uninstall WPO through the Windows Control Panel. Since WPO generates files that the WPO installer is not aware of, you must then delete the excess files and the directory by hand.
