If you are working with a Publisher, click on the name in
the treeview to the left of the window to work with that
Publisher's data.In the above image, the 'Publisher Info' column is read-only. The 'Data' column is where you enter data for the publisher.
The 'Rating' is how you rank this Publisher. Comes in handy for doing searches. 'Days to respond' is how long it could take this publisher to respond to a query.
After saving Publisher for the first time, the name will appear in the treeview to the left of the window, as seen in the image to the right.
There are multiple tabs in the Publisher window for storing more information.
It is possible to keep track of all submissions and correspondence made to the selected Publisher.
When tracking correspondence, enter the name of the correspondence into the first cell of the data grid. To enter the location of the correspondence, you can enter the location manually, or click on the Locate button to find the name and path of the correspondence on your hard drive.
The text field above the treeview is used for Fast
Searches. Enter the name, or partial name, of a Publisher. Push
the 'Enter/Return' key or click on the 'List Publishers' symbol on
the toolbar and any matches found in the database will list in the
treeview.When you perform this action when no text appears in the text field, then all Publishers will appear in the treeview.
The INSTANT MESSENGER field. Use this field to hold the IM address, or, use it to store a fast note, a different type of Instant Message -- Publisher no longer accepts submission this year, for example.
